Nitrogen is an abundantly found
element in earth’s atmosphere accounting for around 78% of earth’s atmosphere. Nitrogen compounds are characterized by their
constant interaction between the atmosphere and living beings. The element is
colorless and odorless gas. It counteracts the effects of oxygen because of its
inert properties. It is an industrial gas which is generated via a nitrogen plant manufacturing process system. It is produced by fractional distillation
of liquid air.
Nitrogen is also found in organisms in amino
acids, nucleic acids (DNA) and in the energy transfer molecule adenosine
triphosphate. Human body comprises of 3%
of nitrogen by mass, the most significant element after oxygen, carbon and
hydrogen. Nitrogen cycle constitutes interaction of the
element from the air with biosphere and organic compounds, which then goes back
into the atmosphere. Nitrogen is the largest industrial gas, which is used
across various industrial sectors. Nitrogen
plant manufacturing process system is used for producing nitrogen through
fractional distillation of liquid air.
Air is tapped from the atmosphere
which is then compressed in nitrogen plant manufacturing process system. After
being compressed inside the compressor, the air is pushed inside the molecular
cleanup system where impurities such as carbon dioxide, moisture and
hydrocarbons are removed. Now, the air is run through heat exchangers where it
is cooled to cryogenic temperatures. After being cryogenically cooled, it is
directed into a high pressure distillation column where it nitrogen is
distilled at the bottom. Distillation is continued till it meets the
specifications of medical and industrial applications.
Manufacturing of nitrogen plant manufacturing
process system is undertaken with the best available materials. It is ensured that fabricating process is
executed as per the internationally approved manufacturing practices. Quality of each component is tested before it
is used. Once the manufacturing of nitrogen plant is completed it is put
through rigorous testing before being cleared for sale to clients.
